Ranger Betrayal, chapter 3, by Swegi Gonbup, Gonbup Production©2023

Chapter 3: At Home

Ranger woke up early feeling a mix of excitement and guilt. He couldn't shake off the memories of his passionate encounter with Sandy the previous day. As he made his way to the kitchen, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted him, and he saw Trish sitting at the table with a mischievous smile on her face.  "Morning, babe," Trish said, taking a sip of her coffee, her dark skin glowing in the morning light. "You look like you're in a good mood. Did you catch a big fish yesterday?"  Ranger grinned, his heart skipping a beat. "Well, a couple, but I threw one back," he replied, trying to keep his cool. "The fish weren't really biting, but I enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake."  Trish raised an eyebrow, her playful expression not going unnoticed by Ranger.

"Hmm, I bet you did," she said, her tone suggestive. "You know, I'm feeling a little frisky this morning. Maybe we can have some fun before you head out for work."  Ranger's mind raced as he tried to hide his guilt behind a smile. He couldn't shake off the image of Sandy from his mind, but he didn't want to hurt Trish either. "Sounds tempting, babe," he said, leaning in to kiss Trish's cheek. "But I've got an early meeting at the office today. Maybe tonight?"  Trish pouted, but she didn't press the issue. "Alright, tonight it is," she said, taking another sip of her coffee. "But don't keep me waiting too long, Mr. Ranger."  Ranger chuckled, feeling a mix of relief and guilt.

He couldn't help but admire Trish's beauty and her playful nature, but his mind was still filled with thoughts of Sandy. He knew he had to be careful and not let his guard down around Trish, as he didn't want to reveal his betrayal.  As they sipped their coffee, Trish changed the topic to their plans for the upcoming weekend. She suggested going on a romantic getaway to a nearby resort, and Ranger found himself agreeing without really thinking it through. He didn't want to disappoint Trish, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for deceiving her.  Throughout their conversation, Ranger tried to be clever and attentive, hiding his inner turmoil behind his charming façade. Trish was oblivious to his internal conflict, and she continued to flirt and tease him, making him feel both desired and guilty at the same time.

Ranger's mind wandered to his childhood in Texas, where he had dreamed of adventure and excitement. He had always been a free spirit, craving new experiences and thrills. As he grew older, he made choices that led him to a comfortable, but unfulfilling life. He had settled down with Trish, built a successful business, but deep down, he felt a restlessness that he couldn't ignore.  As the conversation continued, Trish's playful banter became more suggestive, and Ranger found it harder to keep up the charade. He was torn between his desire for Trish and his growing infatuation with Sandy. He tried to steer the conversation away from anything too intimate, but Trish was persistent.  "Come on, Ranger," Trish said, leaning in close to him with a twinkle in her eye. "Don't you want to have some fun before you head off to work?  I promise I'll make it worth your while."  Ranger felt a surge of desire. "Okay." He took a deep breath and tried.
